A well marbled and tender steak that needs only a little salt and pepper before grilling. I usually don't go for a New York strip as I prefer a rib-eye or the flat-iron steaks, however I got offered a deal on four of these and am glad I took it. For the last few years I have been in heaven with Certified’s prime filets and strips but wondered about their choice cuts. A recent special gave me the opportunity to try some choice strips steaks. They are very well trimmed and front end cuts without the sinew separation. Definitely a step above what one would get at an average supermarket. However, although good and flavorful, the first bite told me these were not prime. High quality choice, but more chewy and less juicy. I’m spoiled.Quality Price Value

I have now cooked 2 of the strips. For me, they are a perfect portion of meat. Grilled one and cooked the other in a skillet. Great cut of meat, I will definitely reorder. (Posted on March 22, 2016)Quality Price Value

I purchased the Memorial Day Special, which included two 14-oz NY Strips. These steaks were delicious and juicy, and they had a perfect texture. I compared them to a USDA Prime NY Strip bought locally from a good meat market, and I preferred the Certified Steak.Quality Price Value

I used to not care for NY strip but it's my husband's favorite so I got a some for him. I tried Certified NY strip and I LOVE them! I got the boneless and they were so good, I can't wait to try the bone in also (Posted on June 4, 2014)Price Value Quality
